About Us 關於
香港舞台技術及設計人員協會（HKATTS，[hey_cats] ）於一九八九年成立，是一個關注劇場藝術、設計及技術的非牟利專業團體。成員多為職業劇場工作者，旨在促進劇場科藝及舞台設計專業發展及開拓世界劇場文化與技術交流。
自一九九三年起，香港舞台技術及設計人員協會正式成為國際舞台美術家劇場建築師暨劇場技術組織 “Organization Internationale des Scénographes, Techniciens et Artchitectes de Théâtre” (OISTAT) 香港地區代表。
本會自成立以來，義務籌辦多項有關香港舞台及設計行業的活動，致力增加社會大眾對舞台技術及設計的認識、促進業內人士的交流、提昇專業水平、以及擔當香港舞台技術及設計工作者與國際劇場的溝通橋樑。
The Hong Kong Association of Theatre Technicians & Scenographers (HKATTS, [hey_cats]) was founded in 1989 by a group of enthusiastic theatre practitioners. It is a professional organization, registered as a non-profit company, which aims to promote theatre technology and scenography in Hong Kong, facilitate communication and cooperation within the theatre industry, raise professional standards, and foster exchanges between local and overseas theatre professionals.
Since 1993, HKATTS officially became the Hong Kong Centre of “Organization Internationale des Scénographes, Techniciens et Artchitectes de Théâtre” (OISTAT) .
OISTAT 國際舞台美術家劇場建築師暨劇場技術師組織
「國際舞台美術家劇場建築師暨劇場技術師組織」（以下簡稱 OISTAT 國際劇場組織），全名為 Organisation Internationale des Scénographes, Techniciens et Architectes de Théâtre，英譯為 International Organisation of Scenographers, Theatre Architects and Technicians.
OISTAT 國際劇場組織於西元 1968 年創立於捷克布拉格，與聯合國教科文組織（UNESCO）有正式關係。創立之始，主要作為東西歐劇場設計相關工作者的交流平台，自共產黨鐵幕崩解以後，逐漸轉型為全球性的國際組織，目前OISTAT擁有31個會員中心，另有個人會員與組織會員，分佈於全球約50個國家。
OISTAT 旨在提供一個跨越國家、地理界線的專業平台，讓世界劇場的工作者能藉由 OISTAT 的國際交流活動，交換彼此的經驗及心得，共同促進國際劇場界的健全及發展。OISTAT 的核心目標乃是透過建築委員會、研究委員會、表演設計委員會、劇場技術委員會、出版與資訊委員會、教育委員會六個委員會的運作而完成，並且透過會員大會，由全體會員決定 OISTAT 的方向。 目前 OISTAT 的常態性國際專案包含世界劇場設計展(World Stage Design, WSD)、國際劇場藝術節 (OISTAT Scenofest)、劇場建築國際競圖 (Theatre Architecture Competition)、劇場創新發明獎 (Technical Invention Prize)，和數位劇場詞彙 (Digital Theatre Words) 及世界劇場設計年鑑 (World Scenography) 等出版品。
OISTAT stands for “Organisation Internationale des Scénographes, Techniciens et Architectes de Théâtre” in French, and “International Organisation of Scenographers, Theatre Architects and Technicians” in English. It is a worldwide organization for scenographers, theatre architects, theatre educators and theatre technicians.
OISTAT generates, promotes and maintains a global network of specialist practitioners, educators and researchers who shape, challenge and imagine elements, events and environments for the live performing arts.
OISTAT serves those who facilitate and create design for live performance: including practitioners, researchers, students and associated partners.
OISTAT promotes the participation of individuals, alliances and institutions as well as the formation of OISTAT centers in all regions of the world.
OISTAT enables the ongoing exchange of knowledge: sharing innovations, encouraging experimentation and promoting international collaborations in the development of live performance as well as its technologies and the space that hosts it.
