2022 年 WSD 世界劇場設計展將於 8 月 6 日至 16 日在加拿大卡加利舉辦，WSD 2022 主辦團隊與 OISTAT 隆重宣布本屆活動將採「實體形式」舉辦。於此同時，他們也將推出系列線上活動，包含 WSD 世界劇場設計競賽、TAC 劇場建築國際競圖、TIP 劇場創新發明獎線上展覽，讓更多人能加入 WSD 世界劇場設計展共襄盛舉。

With immense hopefulness and joy, the Organizing Committee and OISTAT are pleased to declare that World Stage Design 2022 will proceed as an IN-PERSON event! They look forward to seeing you in Calgary in August this year!
They realize not everyone will be able to travel, or some may not be comfortable travelling yet. They will have excellent online programming and the WSD Exhibitions (including Theatre Architecture Competition and Technical Invention Prize) will be available in a digital format. All OISTAT meetings will have online participation options.
WSD 2022 has been very challenging to program due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. They are working hard to keep you informed and have posted links to the Canadian Covid-19 protocols and visa information on our website. The most important help you can give us is to register for the conference as soon as possible so that we have a better understanding of the number of people attending and how they are planning to attend. Registration options are Hybrid (in-person and digital) or Digital only. Please help them plan the best event possible by registering here.

第三屆 TIP 劇場創新發明獎首獎由香港奪得

為了鼓勵劇場技術工作者與娛樂產業的技術從業人員發揮創意思考與交流，OISTAT 國際劇場組織舉辦 TIP 劇場創新發明獎（Technical Invention Prize, TIP），盼能記錄世界各地劇場人在技術工作中曾使用過的小裝置、小撇步，這些巧思不需耗費大量金錢或難以取得的材料，卻可解決技術劇場中碰到的不便，提升技術工作的效率。
得獎作品於 8 月 6 日至 16 日 2022 WSD 世界劇場設計展期間，在加拿大卡加利大學展出，敬請期待！

The first prize of the 3rd TIP (Technical Invention Prize) was won by Hong Kong
Ho Ka Po, Cathy and Lo Yan Yi, Stephanie - Soldering Wire Holder
The TIP is awarded to the technicians working in theatre or any part of the entertainment industry who make gadgets, devices or basically simple and smart solutions for our kind of work: those clever ideas that are mostly realized by inexpensive means and materials. The apparatus might only be used in one particular theatre, company, traveling show, sometimes just one country. This is an opportunity to share these inventions and clever devices with the international community through publication of the TIP Catalogue, featuring the entries deemed most useful by an international panel of judges.
They are pleased to announce the Prize Winners of the Technical Invention Prize 2022 and selected entries for the exhibition and the catalogue. The Prize-winning and selected entries for TIP 2022 will be exhibited at the 2022 Technical Invention Prize Exhibition during 2022 World Stage Design on August 6-16 at the University of Calgary in Calgary, Canada.

世界舞台設計（WSD）是第一個也是唯一一個以設計師為基礎的展覽，展示和慶祝個人設計師的表演設計。 第 5 屆 WSD 展覽將於 2022 年 8 月 6 日至 16 日在加拿大卡爾加里舉行。
「劇場設計競賽展覽」（World Stage Design Exhibition），其中專業組收到 539 件投件作品，最後由評審團選出來自 28 國設計師的 99 件入圍作品，香港共有 2 件作品。新銳組收到 270 件投件作品，最後由評審團選出來自 15 國設計師的 60 件入圍作品，香港共有 2 件作品。

World Stage Design (WSD) is the first and only designer-based exhibition to showcase and celebrate performance design from individual designers. The fifth WSD exhibition will be held in Calgary, Canada from August 6th to 16th, 2022.
"World Stage Design Exhibition" (World Stage Design Exhibition), of which the professional group received 539 submissions, and finally the jury selected 99 shortlisted works from designers from 28 countries, Hong Kong has 2 works. The Emerging group received 270 submissions, and the jury finally selected 60 shortlisted works from designers from 15 countries, including 2 works from Hong Kong.
